Lodi Memorial staff and physicians have recognized Hospice of San Joaquin as the provider of hospice care for the Lodi area since the early 1980's. The availability of hospice care is not a matter of having 'a Lodi address' since hospice services are primarily delivered in the homes of the terminally ill. Each day Hospice of San Joaquin deploys its teams of nurses, home health aides, social workers and trained volunteers throughout the Lodi region. In 2006, 149 terminally ill patients and their families were served in the greater Lodi area by Hospice of San Joaquin. More of this story...
