In all the theological discussions that abound, there is one question that begs to be answered. And that question is: "Who is Jesus Christ?"

The Bible is clear on who Jesus claimed to be. He claimed to be God, and the only way to eternal life. Now either He is or He is not. There is no gray area.

If He is not who He claimed to be, then He is the biggest fraud the world has ever known. If, however, Jesus is who He claimed to be, then He deserves our worship. There is no inbetween.

If His claims are true, it is impossible to mix belief in Him with anything else, including any religious system that doesn't acknowledge Him alone as Savior and Lord, any philosophy that seeks to find answers within the human potential, or any way of life that seeks to earn eternal life apart from Him.

The current politically correct idea of religion - having to agree that all religions are equally true, are worshiping the same God, and are leading to the same "heaven" - is intellectual suicide. Oh, it gives warm, fuzzy feelings and makes everyone feel good, but it's incorrect thinking.

If every religion, philosophy, or way of life has equal truth, then truth has no meaning. It is ludicrous to say that different spiritual traditions that hold radically different beliefs can all be true at the same time. For example, can Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam - which hold totally different beliefs on God, the after life and salvation - all be true? No, it's impossible.

Is it intolerant, narrow minded or hateful to say this? No, it is just plain common sense.

Jesus claimed to be God, to be the only truth, and to be the only way to eternal life. I challenge anyone to take an honest, open look at these claims of Jesus. If He is not all of these, then reject Him. But if He is all of these, will you bow your knee to Him? How you answer will impact you for all eternity.
