Pastor Townsend states, "Please know that the aforementioned churches would welcome you."
Is that literally true--are you welcoming of all Christians? Would any of the churches in the group welcome an LGBT family? Could the children attend Sunday school and the legally wed parents sit together in the pews, serve on committees, and attend Bible study together? Thankfully, there are a few churches in Lodi that do welcome all families, including LGBT, but the five mentioned above are not on that list.
