People of all faiths who believe in God are invited to attend the 45th annual Greater Lodi Leadership Prayer Breakfast on Thursday. It's a community gathering to join in prayer for government leaders, media fairness, education excellence, and family building and unity, according to breakfast chairman Lewis F. Van Buskirk.
"Our nation has been on a downward spiral for several years, spiritually, financially and in leadership quality," Van Buskirk said in a news release. "Many people feel there is nothing that they can do about this crisis, but that is not the case. The power of prayer, especially group prayer and individual action, can yield tremendous results."

It's a shame that "public invitation" means those "who believe in god".
