Local atheists to discuss ‘free will’; public invited

An associate professor at the University of California, Merced, will discuss the nature of “free will” during a free public discussion hosted by the Stockton-Area Atheists & Freethinkers.

Dr. David C. Noelle, an associate professor of cognitive and information sciences, will lead a discussion on the physical laws that govern the development and activity of the brain and how people can be in control of their own decisions, according to the Stockton-based organization.
