Volunteers from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints landscaped the corner of Lodi Avenue and Cherokee Lane during the church’s recent cleanup day in Lodi and Galt. About 300 people from Lodi’s four wards participated.

Projects included improvements to Blakely, Peterson and English Oaks parks, Tokay High School, the Grape Bowl, and tree pruning between Century Boulevard and Harney Lane and from Mills Avenue to the Woodbridge Irrigation District canal. Volunteers also cleaned children’s books, dusted and placed misplaced books to their proper locations at the Lodi Public Library.
