Our religious journey and celebration of our Catholic faith began on Nov. 21. This year’s National Catholic Youth Conference — with the theme “Signed. Sealed. Delivered.” — was held in Indianapolis from Nov. 21 to 23. This organization is sponsored by the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry, Inc.

NCYC is the largest gathering of Catholic youths in high school in the United States. More than 24,000 youths and their chaperones from around the nation gathered for three days of prayer, worship, service and educational workshops. It was a chance for the young church to unite and grow in their faith. We also encountered other teens seeking to get rid of the pressures of today’s society and have the freedom to express the values of their faith.
