Purpose: Non-believers focusing on community
involvement, social events, education, information and
activism.
Monthly events: Social and business meeting on
the first Friday, book club on the second Wednesday and
“freethought movie night” on the fourth Sunday. Most meetings are
in Stockton and Lodi. A calendar of events is on the organization’s
website.
Other activities: Online discussion forum, park
cleanup, food drive, game and trivia nights.
Cost: No dues.

‘Godless billboards’ promote atheism in Stockton and Ripon

A group that includes 30 to 40 atheists or agnostics from Lodi
are part of a coalition that is purchasing billboard advertising in
Stockton and Ripon to promote their point of view.
The billboards, which went up this week, read, "Don't believe in
God? Join the club."

Just to clarify, we have not conducted fundraisers but we certainly encourage our members to be active in the community, volunteer, and donate. Last September we were recognized by the City of Stockton for our efforts.
