Robert Sams

“It’s a very family oriented church. There’s definitely a lot of participation and people are very connected to one another.”

Cheryl Francis

“What makes this place special? The fellowship, the camaraderie, the friendliness, the openness — a lot of things drew me to this church. I have the sense that I belong here from the time I walk in the door to the time that I leave.”

Hanset Aragon

“I was in the high school group for a long time and then the college group. There is a lot of opportunity to do things outside of the church.”

Amanda Guthmiller

“The people in general make this church special. More specifically, I was part of the high school group for three years and the kids in there were inviting and fun. The staff is great, and all the other regular attendees.”

As Pastor Steve Newman began his introduction to the subject of building supportive relationships with others, a man from First Baptist Church walked across the stage carrying a heavy box.

Newman was in the middle of discussing how people should serve one another, when he addressed the man telling him that he should have gotten someone to help carry the box.
