The Crushers defeated Alameda in the round of sixteen, in overtime, 2-1, when Austin Mettler scored the "golden goal" three minutes into the second overtime peiod. It was his second goal of the day.
The Crushers scored first in the quarters against the Folsom Fury when Clayton Silva scored on a through ball from Mettler, but Folsom managed to tie the game right before halftime.
