Since Sept. 11, 2001, the world’s attention has been focused on Pakistan and other nations in or near the Middle East. With a sizable number of Pakistani immigrants, Lodi has a unique connection to the region. Many members of the broader Lodi community, however, remain unfamiliar with the culture and background of those with roots in Pakistan. Today’s special report examines the Pakistan-to-Lodi connection and provides a fuller view of these residents.
