We should follow Bible's guidance, not visions

A woman called the radio station. She had a vision of John Paul II: “Don’t fear, everything will be OK.” The commentator commiserated with her, “Maybe you are supposed to be a teacher of the faith.”

The woman isn’t even going to Mass — a mortal sin; she never goes to confession to receive Sacramental Grace. Because you had a dream, it doesn’t mean it is from Most Holy Triune God. “Your adversary, the Devil — as a roaring lion — seeks to devour you” (1 Peter 5:8).

We are given guidance by Matthew 7:20, “By their fruits, you will know them.” The Eucharist — not man-made “modern” ecumenism — was there from the beginning, John 6. From what I’ve been taught “no one” becomes a saint when only one-third of his flock believes in the Eucharist. Bow to and kiss the Koran? Pose theological evolution? No!

“Even if we (apostles) or an angel from Heaven should preach a Gospel to you other than that which we have preached to you, let him be anathema,” Galations 1:8. Read Acts 5:29. The Holy Ghost guides Catholic Councils — not visions from angels as entertained by Pope John XXIII.

Compromise is a downhill slope. In 1924, Angelo Roncalli was dismissed from Rome’s Lateran College, accused of modernism. Later his Cardinal hat was presented by the president of France, an atheist.

For every “fear not” in the Bible, I can serve you many more that respect the power of Almighty God. Psalms, Proverbs, Wisdom and Sirach all speak of the “fear of the Lord.” Proverbs 1:7, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.” Both love and justice are intertwined as the “two” witnesses of the Cross.

Compare the fruit of the beautiful Latin Holy Tridentine Mass with Pope Paul VI’s compromised, man-made Novus Odor (New Mass). Unconscionable to invite six Protestant advisers to bring the altar out and have the Priests turn their backs to the Crucifix and Tabernacle. Zechariah, the most important end-time prophet, knew the importance of the Tabernacle to the Jews’ realization that Christ’s crucifix (Perfect Sacrifice) is our only hope.
