Whether it be archeological or biological finding, when the results of our scientific research corroborates scriptural teaching, God is praised. For instance, the recent discovery of artifacts that prove King David and the City of David existed as biblically documented.

Also, the recent "almost" discovery of the "God particle" and now the results of the colossal encode DNA study that took decades, was international in scope, cost many millions of dollars and proves beyond a reasonable doubt that life cannot "evolve" from non-life.

Life can only come from life. The first human life, the first living system of any kind, could only come by special creation from a living sovereign planner, designer, builder.

Ewan Birney, project scientist and participant in the European Molecular Biology Laboratory, commented, "It's worth reminding ourselves that we are very, very complex machines, and it shouldn't be so surprising that the instruction manual is really pretty fearsomely complicated."

Dr. Birney's words should remind us of some other words from the actual manual written by the designer Himself — "I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are your works, and that my soul knows right well (Psalm 139:14)."

Reminds me of a quick story. A young, arrogant and overconfident angel approached God with the request that, if allowed, he could build a man better than God did with Adam, and would like to prove it.

God, with His subtle and hilarious sense of humor, said, "Sure, go ahead, and you can even use Adam as your prototype. But one thing — use your own dirt."

Biochemists and other scientists have tried for decades to duplicate the creation of life, but the simplest of God's self-replicating systems are infinitely more complex than the most elaborate machine ever designed by man.

The author seems to think that the "god particle" has something to do with Yahweh. Sorry, it's simply a provocative nickname given to the Higgs Boson. There's nothing supernatural about it.

As for DNA and evolution, if you're going to cite scientific evidence to prove the existence of your god, you cannot dismiss the majority of scientific evidence. Science overwhemingly agrees with evolutionary theory, and I would be happy to explain the theory (and show evidence) to anyone who is genuinely interested.

Finally, even if I concede that God exists and somehow guided evolution to happen, how does that make your specific god the "correct" one? Why not any of the other thousands of gods that have been proposed, or one that we don't even know of yet?

Or better yet, how about we just consider "god" another word for "nature" and get on with our lives?

While he has not yet "created" life, man did successfully create "God" in all his manifestations.
