Thank you, Gov. Brown and Mr. President, for releasing prisoners, both federal and state. And since you don't know where they are, you don't have to worry about it; once released, it's not your problem.
In doing so it frees up moneys for, say, high-speed rail at $90-some billion, conservatively speaking, which we can spend the rest of our lives paying for so people will get to Los Angles three hours sooner.
Or it frees up money to dig tunnels under the Delta in California — so who needs asparagus, potatoes or onions? How much water flow do you need to keep salt water from coming up the Delta? Turning the Delta into a wetland is probably not such a bad idea, as it certainly won't sustain planting vegetables in salt water.
How about putting people in charge who care what happens to the Delta, instead of the Department of Water Resources doing what you delegate?
