As the holidays approach and "lists" of treasures and surprises begin to form in my head, it occurred to me that I was missing a "real memorable" gift possibility! The new Arbor area of the Lodi High School gym has a "brick memory garden" sponsored by the Parent Club! What a great idea — no need to wrap and it will last a lifetime!

You may have a young person who is graduating mid-year, a birthday, a special recognition, a member of this year's Class of 2013, Christmas, "just because" or alumni. And to tie it all as a perfect gift, you have supported your school, your young people, the volunteers who care enough to remain involved and special staff members!

It's so easy to give — online, in the office, contacting the Lodi Parent Club leadership — and what a great gift! I'm hoping we all can make a "lasting" impression of our time at Lodi High!
