There was recently a deadly weekend in Chicago — eight people murdered and 47 injured by gunfire. This information was obtained online and not in the local papers, perhaps none in the U.S. I would think more laws should be passed to deal with the violence, not that there aren’t enough at the present time.
It would seem that Chicago, which is Barry Obama’s hometown, would be all over the front page of every big and small-town newspaper in the country. In this case, he should come to realize that this is his hometown, and helped get him elected. A Republican cannot be blamed, since Chicago is a Democratic town. Still, the killings go on with little or no response from the White House.
Come on, Barry, let’s hear what you have to say about “your hometown,” Mr. President.
