This is in regards to your July 22 article "Property feud erupts in Victor." I live in Lockeford and my parents (pillars of our community) actually own this suspect parcel.
Anyway, I will take the lead in this matter. Hence "meet the players": Rodney 45, one beautiful wife, two great kids, no dog, cat (Sophie).
The story is that my neighbor ripped out a solar panel that operates a new fish screen. Where is Fish and Game when you need them? Anyone who reads this should be concerned that property the NSJWCD owns and operates has been damaged.
I think it is absurd that boardmember Pilkington not only voted to not pursue a judgment against my neighbor, but that you also quoted the man. Clearly, Mr. Pilkington continues to oppose a water tax. I believe that if you don't pay to play, then you will lose the right to this water. Mr. Steffani is a good leader doing a thankless job; down the road he will prove to be correct.
One does not have to have a crystal ball take a look at our current presidential administration and the state's fiscal mess. Big Brother O will be calling.
