In your year-end photo round up, I loved seeing the photo of Jarrod Mays seated on his giant spider that won "Best of Show" in the 2010 Lodi Community Art Center Spring Show. Then I felt deeply disappointed as I discovered that once again the Lodi News-Sentinel had credited the Lodi Arts Commission with an LCAC project.

The Lodi Community Art Center has been providing the community with this first class art show for 50 years. It attracts artists and visitors to the Lodi community from a large part of northern California. Members of LCAC are largely active artists themselves who have banded together in a non-profit promoting art and arts education in Lodi. We love the city of Lodi's arts commission, but we are not that group.

Caroline Henry

Past president of LCAC

Editor's note: The News-Sentinel apologizes for the error.
