The American Steel Car Club of Lodi will be having our 19th annual “Stuck in Lodi” Classic Car Show on Aug. 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be held in beautiful Downtown Lodi on School Street, from Lodi Avenue to Elm and the side streets — Walnut, Oak and Pine. Last year we had 279 pre-1972 classic cars.

There will be raffles with lots of gift certificates and prizes to win, donated by Lodi and Stockton businesses. Last year we were able to donate to seven different charities — six in Lodi and Stockton, as well as one on the national level.

Make a day of it, looking at cars, shopping, wine tasting and eating at the great food places. It is free to the public. A breakfast will be served by Boy Scout Troop 291 from 7 to 10 a.m., for a nominal fee.

If you have a pre-1972 classic car you want to show, you can go online to our website, American Steel Car Club’s 19th annual Stuck in Lodi Classic Car Show, and download an application, or call 209-931-4650. It is $25 per car to register by July 28, and then it will be $30 thereafter.

We have one of the best goodie bags of any car show. Come join us.
