President Obama is taking steps to better the lives of Americans
John Krueg has a right to be an Independent voter.
During President George W. Bush's administration, the
self-declared neoconservatives involved the U.S. in an unnecessary
war in Iraq, and also gave tax cuts to the top 1 percent of the
wealthiest in the nation.
President Obama said (as both digitally taped and recorded) that
you can't raise taxes on the middle class! The president only wants
the people who earn $500,000 or more to pay 5 percent more on their
earnings.
G.E. has 90 percent of its assets outside of the U.S.; not a
good thing for Americans looking for jobs. But G.E. is not the only
company operating in this fashion. Outsourcing jobs is good for the
bottom line, but not middle-class, American job seekers.
By their own admission, the GOP will not compromise on anything
President Obama proposes; their only interest is winning the 2012
election. And how is this good for the American people? "Just say
no" — with no viable option?
President Obama promotes alternative energy resources in order
not to be dependent on unstable nations for fossil fuel. Just
because Solyndra was a failed business does not mean that the USA
should give up on alternative energy resources, but continue to
explore the options.
President Obama's job policies have created jobs, just not at a
rate he wanted and expected. How many jobs did President George W.
Bush's tax cuts for the rich create? Mr. Krueg, check out the
Bureau of Labor Statistics and the nonpartisan Congressional Budget
Office for an exact job count. There has been a slow but steady
increase in jobs. President Obama told the American people that it
would take approximately 10 years to recover from the financial
crisis of 2008. During his two years and 10 months in office there
has not been one tax increase on the middle class.
Know how to bring jobs back to the U.S.? Impose higher tariffs
on products produced by the U.S. corporations operating outside the
U.S.
Mr. Krueg, please vote for the candidate you think can better
the lives of all Americans.

If we use the math that the Obama administration has made famous then Bush must have "saved or created" untold millions of jobs. As for the middle-class not being taxed under Obama. Don't be ridiculous, Frank; the cost of everything -- from food to gas -- is skyrocketing under your guy. Now, if you want to believe that rising prices, driven by govt policy, do not constitute a form of taxation then clearly your belief system needs some re-configuration. Best wishes, Frank.

No matter how much Obama tells America the worse is over and we are recovering more every day, the fact of the matter is America is a whole lot worse off than the day he took office. I guess his motto is if I lie to the citizens long enough they will believe me. His whole presidency is based on lies, as is his personal history.

Hummmmmm... letter stated...and also gave tax cuts to the top 1 percent of the wealthiest in the nation....
What really happened... The current six rate brackets of replaced the old brackets...10%, 15%, 25%, 28%, 33% and 35% replaced by five old brackets ( before Bush) with the higher rates of 15%, 28%, 31%, 36% and 39.6%
So all people benefited, not just the rich...

Frank Caruso,
Sorry about last time for not getting it right. Anyway , ...
This letter has the look and feel of being part of the
democrats vs. republicans
As such, it can only divide America, and distract people from the true nature of the problem, which is not either Obama or Bush, although Bush and Obama are beneficiaries.
