Obama’s overreach of power must be stopped

Barack Obama may well be the worst thing to happen to this country in my lifetime. Jimmy Carter was merely incompetent. Obama combines that with a desire to destroy this nation as it was founded. A community organizer is actually an agitator. They are steeped in Marxist ideology and are ruthless in their quest for power.

Ask yourself what is happening before your very eyes — the assault on religion, individual accountability and responsibility, the division is along racial and economic lines, the disastrous lack of foreign policy and the destruction of a once-proud military, the cultivation of a permanent underclass (those who depend upon government largess and vote for whomever promises the largest handout).

Obama has allied himself with self-serving politicians, those who have no intention of doing what is best for the country; rather, they seek self-aggrandizement and personal gain.

It is not too late to reverse the decline of western civilization under Obama, Putin, Castro and radical Islam. We the citizens must organize and speak out — Christian, Muslims, Sikh, Buddhist, whatever. We did that in 2010 and we can again. The 2014 elections are crucial.

Obamacare may well be Obama and the Democrats’ greatest overreach. Pay attention to your personal welfare. Look what Obama is doing to you and your neighbors. Elect people who want to build this nation, not destroy it!

Jerry Osgood

Since Jerry Osgood lives in Sacramento County, I wonder why he doesn't submit his highly intellectual and enlightened letters to the Sacramento Bee.

Oh, that's right. The Bee's editorial oversight committee would put them all where they belong - in the round file.

Meanwhile, Lodi is privileged to get the weekly diatribe of ignorance and rote repetition of FOX News talking points.

The Roman's knew what to do with "community organizers". They nailed them to crosses.

Well then - he deserves some additional respect for his apolitical outlook.

Sometimes it's best to maintain the posture of a "limited personality." Most likely a lot of thinking going on in that purple head that we might learn from.

Just more angry old white guy propaganda. What's it like to wake up every morning hating everything you don't understand? All of your letters sound exactly alike.'

Don't you get it? Times have changed. You haven't.

Why don't you just submit a generic, anti-Obama letter and just have the LNS print it once a week. Those who feel like you do won't notice it's the same letter. And the more learned participants here will just shake their heads and knowingly smile.

This is just a repetition of Mr. Osgood's usual weekly letter to the editor - as you say, FOX Talking Points. Nothing more, as if this letter writer had the capability of backing up any ONE of these points with substantiating information.

I did notice he forgot to include his usual plea for the TEA Party to come and RESCUE America from the terrible black, socialist, though.

Sorry Jerry, your rambling tirade is nothing but opinions and insinuations coupled with memorized fox news talking points. Notably missing was anyrthing FACTUAL
You said there was" an assalt on religion, individual accountability and responsibility ,the division is along racial and economic lines, the disastrous lack of foreign policy and the destruction of a once proud military, the cultivation of a permanent underclass." ( And that was just one sentence) But there is not one specific detail, fact ,or example to connect or explain any of your opinions.
Sorry Jerry, but your rant is too ridiculous to even bother writing a reply to the Sentenal. Thanks for trying ....

When Tinky Winky ALSO starts to enumerate the gross violations of the Constitution that George W. Bush committed (and any or all of his predecessors), get back to us, Mr. Kindseth.

You need to put the purple "boy" to good and fair work.

And it is always good to know which of the loyal commenters here have crossed over to the "other side" with Andrew Liebich and now subscribe to CT websites that, of course, know ALL the "truth."

"Obama has allied himself with self-serving politicians, those who have no intention of doing what is best for the country; "

Did I fall asleep momentarily? Blink one second too long?

When did Obama ally himself with the Republican Party? Someone tell me how I missed that!!
