Letter: Our country is declining because of lazy decisions

Well, we’re in the same dilemma — the country couldn’t stop the illegal immigrants from coming in, so they said it’s OK to come in now. Now they can’t stop the drugs from coming in so they made it legal. That’s taking the easy way out!

Every one of the politicians we have in office has their head in the sand. They have made so many bad moves in the past couple of years, it’s no wonder our country is going downhill.

As for gay marriage, it won’t be long before they teach in schools that that’s the way of life. It won’t be long before someone figures out how to make a man pregnant — if they haven’t already.

As for the extension of unemployment, there are too many loose ends to the program. There are too many people who would rather sit back and not work and draw their dough. There are jobs out there. It may not be what you would like to do, but at least you are helping yourself and not having it given to you.

Have you signed up for Obamacare? What a farce — another flop that our president thought up. It’s time for him to fly off someplace. He’s been on vacation since he’s been in office!

Kill your TV! There is nothing more stupid, insidious and mind-numbing than the TV. Nothing will separate you from reality faster than television. If you have cable TV, cancel it. If you have satellite TV, disconnect it. Remove this insidious technology from your life or it will dominate your mind, your beliefs, your emotions and your reactions to everything that happens in the world. Television is a pathway to total zombification.

I understand your definition of unbiased and non-liberal Anything that disagrees with your views. The fact are that these studies were done at Universities in good standing and the studies stand up under realistic scrutiny.
Fox's defense was that one that they taught you and use so well. They did not attack how the poll was done. They attacked one of the schools as a party school and level of scholarship at the other. In other words the old straw man argument. This what you do every time with your comments as you did with the one I am answering. You are truly a faithful student of Fox News style of argument. Are you a ditto head also?

Apparently NON-LIBERAL and UNBIASED are terms you are unfamiliar with.

Psst...Andrew...this is 2014. How many people do YOU know that DO NOT own a TV?

HAHAHAHAHA....Even FOX News has mocked poor people for owning TV's - and actually begrudges the fact that they own REFRIGERATORS!!! What are they thinking? They can't even buy food without food stamps...why would they need a refrigerator for heavens sake?

Not only are FOX News viewers less informed and/or misinformed, we now know that Roger Ailes, chief of the FOX News empire deliberately set out to brainwash his viewers into believing that the FOX tagline, Fair & Balanced, was actually true.

Just goes to show that the majority of viewers who support FOX News ratings are gullible - NAY - gullible is too good an adjective - many people are easily deceived. Let's say FOX News viewers are, sadly, the scary majority in this country who are simple minded - which does not bode well for the future of this great land.

Ahhh, another "studies have shown" BS claim from Lucas. Where is your "polls show" BS? Typical liberal response with absolutely NO verifiable substantiaton. Heard that on Chris MadThews, did ya? Talk about braindead low information clams. No studies from the loonie liberal sources. Actual, verifiable, UNBIASED studies.

Studies have shown that Fox viewer are less informed than those who watch no news at all. You are an excellent example.

How do you know if Ira even owns a television let alone what she watches?

What DO the vast majority of television owners watch?

I wonder what it is about FOX news that scares liberals to death. Anytime someone expresses an opinion that they don’t agree with, the first accusation is that they are parroting FOX news. Never mind that FOX is consistently rated higher than most every other news media on the tube, never mind that FOX consistently out scores most every other news outlet for fair and truthful reporting, FOX routinely reveals the liberal agenda they don’t want advertised, so it automatically get trashed by liberal democrats. I seldom watch TV but I do read news from around the globe. Being free from the Obama liberal news censors, it is interesting to see what international news outlets say about what is going on in America. Often times breaking stories that eventually become so widespread the American liberal media is forced to report it and put their spin on it for damage control. Liberals are so gullible.

More like it's time for Ira's family to wrest that pencil out of his hand and hide the postage stamps!
