Apple Market. Really, people? Like we need another gym. There are at least four big gyms in town.

We need a store like Apple with great customer service, a fresh meat counter and a great deli and bakery.

Let them open a gym at Salisbury's old location. We need a store in this part of town — not a gym.

I am writing this because I live close to apple market and I spend most of my time in an electric wheelchair and Have no need for a gym.

However I have a hard time getting around to get food anywhere that is not close by.

I do not have anyone in town that can drive me to get food on a regular basis.

If there is no grocery store close by I will have a very hard time buying food.

I worked at this store when it was Sell Rite #2--- a long time ago. It was the newest--biggest--nicest grocery store in town then. Times change.
I would love to see the store survive and prosper but having spent forty years in the food business all over the country---- I have seen this sad movie many times before.
I shop here---mostly their fish and fresh meat department when I want something really good---I think their fresh fish and fresh meat department is the best in town.
I am not a consultant but seems to me the property could be partitioned off to house the gym and a smaller store. They might be able to prosper with a premium fresh fish and premium meat department and a small convenience type store offering beverages and a few essentials.
    Just a thought..

You are absolutely right, besides do we really need another gym? I moved to Lockeford St, in part so I could walk to Apple Market. I'm sorry their business plan didn't work, maybe a consultant could help. Save Apple Market!!!!!!!! Save those jobs! Occupy (kidding)
The store on the corner is closing. They’re putting in a “health” club.

The store on the corner is closing and I won’t be seeing you here anymore.

The store on the corner is not some big chain and sometimes that’s a pain. But some of the chain stores have closed, too.

The store on the corner is closing, which means my last minute dash for milk will be longer. (That was a bit of a pain, when the bosses moved closing time from nine to 8, then 7.30.)

The store on the corner is closing; there go some of the best lunch deals with a good sandwich, soft drink and chips.

The store on the corner is closing, it’s my store, I know where everything is.

The store on the corner is closing and I will miss all my friends. I don’t think I know a single name, nor they mine except for what’s on the credit card.

The store on the corner is closing; now I’ll have to pay more attention and shave, put on a clean shirt, cause you could get away with that with family.

The store on the corner is closing; there goes the only one I could walk to (if I have to).
