Now that the election is over and California protected its reputation for strange behavior, I would like to compliment the News-Sentinel for its efforts.

The day before the election the paper ran an AP "news" story with a headline noting that Boxer labeled Fiorina "an extremist." Mind you, there was no news story about Fiorina's opinion of Boxer, just this one making sure that voters associated the Republican with the word "extremist." Somehow, Boxer's opinion was a "news" story.

Why wasn't the headline something like "Radical ignoramus Boxer trying to affect last-minute deciders?" Anyway, organizations like AP and the News-Sentinel did their small part to make sure the Democrat won, but somehow missed the story about the Alaskan reporters plotting to sabotage a Republican.

Boxer won by a 10 point lead, I doubt the article had anything to do with such a wide gap...

I doubt that anyone anywhere would disagree with you on that one Manuel... but your observation has little to do with the writers point.

Alaskan reporters plotting to sabotage a Republican? You mean the bitter tea party candidate that can't concede a race and is engaging in a campaign of spelling > voter intent?
