It takes a low-life coward to sneak around vandalizing Lodi parks
Lodi has 20 beautiful parks scattered around the city. The Parks and Recreation Department takes great care of each, as witnessed by hundreds of families who visit them each day.
But we have “low-life scum and cowards” who, by the dark of the night or early morning, creep into a park, looking in all directions assuring no one is around, setting fire to a trash can and torching a bathroom at Katzakian Park. The low-life scum waits until they are assured that the fire is burning then shoots off to a nearby bush, hiding until the firemen arrive. Then, the coward sneaks back into normality with the knowledge of being safe from any blame.
Meanwhile, the moms, dads and kids who visit the park look sadly around at the misfits’ damage, then turn and go home.
The next “mark” is to sneak through Lodi Lake’s nature trail and rip up posted trail signs, terrorizing the animal life, laughing at the results.
Does the coward or cowards care about the damage to the parks, moms, dads and kids? No! They only care about the satisfaction of the damage.
