L.A. has the sun and water, too

There is a guy in Los Angeles who makes his own water and sells it. It's called solar rain. He takes the ocean water and distills it using the sun for heat. He ends up with clean drinking water.

We do have the technology. Give this guy the money and let him start building distilleries. And Brown wants to give our water to L.A. Why? They have all the water in the world — and the sun.

Now we have a guy running for president that doesn't believe in alternative energy. He wants to burn even more coal and drill even more holes in our ocean floor. What a fool. No common sense.

How are we ever going to have a better world for our kids with this kind of thinking? I thought that politicians worked for you and me. Even when you give them all the right information, they don't get it right if they do at all.

Desalination technology is still very expensive. I'm sure Romney is a proponent of it.
    Within reason, of course.

-Romney has never said he doesn't believe in alternative energy. He's concerned the proponents of funnelling huge amounts of money to alternative energy are not very wise since we have proven energy sources that cost far less.
