I would like to respond to the gentleman that commented on the landscaping at Woodlake Circle entrance, “Low water plants would make better landscaping,” by Curt Juran, Feb. 12.
First of all, I would not criticize something until you have the facts. If you would have gotten out of your car and looked at what we were planting and installing, I don’t think you would have put the HOA down. Most of the plants that were planted are drought tolerant. We covered the soil with bark to keep the moisture in the ground. We installed a drip system in all the planters to save on water. And the sod that was installed is one of the most drought tolerant of all the grasses.
So instead of criticizing the association, you may want to look at your own yard. Oh, and by the way, we have LED lighting to save on energy.
