There is something really going haywire in this town.

Was Mr. Walkway even informed that the city was going to repair his sidewalk? For $58,314.67, is the sidewalk made of gold?

If we all refused to let anyone walk on our sidewalks in front of our houses people would have to walk in the streets. The kids would have to walk in the streets on their way to school. Ridiculous!

The city plants trees in the park strip in front of our houses, so why then, should the homeowners pay when the trees start raising and cracking the sidewalks? Public sidewalks? I don't think so.

Lee, here's how uninformed you are: The $58k for sidewalk repair article was not real. It was a joke. Steve Hanson is a satire writer. "Mr. Walkway?" Really? Also, the city DOES pay when it's their tree that cracks the sidewalk.
