We visited Lodi on the weekend of April 12, and after our meeting we found that the window of our car had been smashed and three of our bags had been stolen.
Two were our overnight bags and one was my tote bag for the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). The three bags were recovered and we appreciate the help of Officers Bertocchini and Freeman from the Lodi Police Department.
The only missing items were my DAR ribbons with dozens of pins commemorating my ancestors, several battles involved in the Revolution and world conflicts. My mother did all the research to prove we have 40 ancestors who supported the Revolution. Each of these ancestors are represented by a gold bar on a blue and white ribbon. If you see any of these pins, please contact me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Pins and ribbons don’t sound very important, do they? But these were given to me by my parents and are quite valuable. Thank you for any help you can provide in their recovery.
