Lodi High School SkillsUSA Club would like to express their sincere thanks to the Lodi Sunrise and Lodi Tokay Rotary clubs for their generous donations.

Their contributions helped five students travel to San Diego for the 43rd Annual California SkillsUSA Leadership Conference and Skills Championships from April 8 to 11.

The students competed in Technical Design and Drafting competitions, a 3-hour contest that tested their Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), technical drafting/dimensioning, and engineering design skills. Junior Jose Jimenez won the gold medal and junior Mark Whitlock was award the silver medal in the Technical Design competition.

Without the financial help that Mr. Ron Williamson coordinated between the Sunrise and Tokay Rotary clubs, the students would have had to pay for all their costs, and possibly eliminate some who would not have been able to bear the financial burden.

Thanks again to the members of the Lodi Sunrise and Tokay Rotary. We appreciate your support.
