U.S. Army Major and psychiatrist Nidal Malik Hasan, armed with automatic pistols, walked into Fort Hood Processing Center, got up on a table, hollered, "Allah akbar! (God is great!)," and proceeded to murder 13 unarmed soldiers and severely wound 31 more, including a peace officer.

This is no time for politically correct rhetoric. This is not a political issue, nor a medical issue. This is a cultural and religious issue based on hatred of Israel and the U.S. This murderous attack is no less an attack than 9/11; the results of this attack no less than that of homicidal bombers or roadside IEDs in Baghdad and Jerusalem — death and misery.

Most Americans have not read the Quran (Koran), Islam's holy book. Many do not understand that Islam means "submission" to Allah, or that Jihad means "holy struggle." The foundation of any culture and religion is its sacred writings and teachings. This is why we must read the Quran to properly understand Islam.

It is no secret that the U.S. is damned by Islam as the Great Satan, and hatred for our support of an alliance with Israel, the Little Satan. The reason for this hatred is a deep-seated and unquenchable family feud that is explained in the Bible — Genesis, chapters 21 through 28 (in entirety). Islam's historic denunciation of Judaism and Christianity is a religious and cultural issue that won't be solved by a bunch of studies or by burying our heads in the sand.

Senator Joe Lieberman of Connecticut, chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, wants Congress to determine if Major Nidal Malik Hasan is an Islamic extremist. My dad used to say, "If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and sounds like a duck, it must be a duck." Lieberman said that if Major Hasan showed prior signs of Islamic extremism in words and/or actions, the Army should've acted with "zero tolerance" and "he should have been gone."

But the horse is already out of the barn and kicking up his hooves. How can we act with "zero tolerance" if we don't have "zero accommodation" and "zero acceptance"?

Every city and town in the U.S. has been "colonized" with a mosque. We refuse to see the obvious and are complacent to the true nature of this philosophy, which by sheer numbers (i.e., exponential growth) will out-populate and incrementally dominate that which will not resist.

If the words of this letter are untrue, Islamic leaders should stand up and publicly denounce the violence being committed in the name of their god, Allah.
