One of the things that I love about Lodi is how we help each other. So with that thought in mind, I encourage Lodians to keep contributing to the local charity of their choice. Contributing locally helps ensure that local charities can rapidly apply assistance to where it is needed most.

And while I'm on the subject, I'm going to put in a plug for our furry friends. I'm sure PALS, Animal Friends Connection, the Micke Grove Zoo and other similar organizations can use a cash infusion right now (summer seems to be a tough time to raise money).

And here's one more reason to keep contributing: It will make you feel good.
