Money doesn’t buy everything
Tuesday, Nov. 6 was the day the Republicans had a wake-up call — just to show you that money doesn't buy everything, including the White House.
Mr. Romney spent over a billion dollars total, and a day or two before the election he spent $100,000.
Like Mr. Rick Aguila said on Nov. 13, in the letter "Obama won, but not by a landslide," we should pray for our president — Republican or Democrat!

"I think Ill take the high road instead"
Wow.
That's a new tactic for you...
Too bad you're not being sincere.

A nation of sheep unable to think because of the poisons in their food and drink.

Although I have said this many times Mr Kinderman, thank you. As usual, you offer very good advise.. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.

As far as your last sentence and sentiment is concerned Mr. Baumbach, I've been hoping and pray for such an outcome when Obama was inaugurated in 2009. While I understand how Barack Hussein Obama won his second term, I still don't understand why so many Americans choose to be so misled. Fool us once Mr. President - shame on you; fool us twice - shame on us. We now have no one else to blame but We the People. We've become a nation of fools.

Although it's been said many times before Mr. Baumbach, it's nevertheless good to remind ourselves that when confronted with such claptrap, it's simply best to consider the source and ignore it. Engaging in any kind of discourse usually proves futile.

On this thread, I only responded to the letter submitted. I then was taunted in a personal attack that is only meant to antagonize, promote and foster uncivil discourse.
I think Ill take the high road instead of the low road this liberal often takes... Ill simple say happy Thanksgiving Ms Bobin.

Letter stated...we should pray for our president — Republican or Democrat!
Yes, I always appreciate people who pray from the heart...but the content of the prayer needs to be appropriate. If one prays for a president to succeed, but the president intends to enslave it's population in a form of socialism, I would think the person giving the prayer is misguided.
I have never prayed as I lack the ability. But I imagine if I did give a prayer, it would be something like this...
Please lord, give president Obama the wisdom to comprehend the damage he is inflicting on people who appreciate the gift of freedom. Then, like the Grinch that Stole Christmas, have him have a change of heart and take action to fix the problems he inflicted.
If I said what is in my mind, I would simply state I hope Obama fails to transform America into the socialist country liberals crave.
