I almost choked on my toast when I read a letter printed in the News-Sentinel the other day. The writer’s closing shot was nothing short of incredible arrogance and adolescent cubism. The only thing left out of what he copied from the Socialist Democrat handbook was a Mitt Romney put-down.
He must be mistaken about having served in the U.S. military. Anyone man enough to have served honorably in our military wouldn’t abide by the way President Obama has yet to react, retaliate or investigate the murders of the four Americans in Benghazi. He doesn’t even have the decency to explain it to the parents of these soldiers.
You can’t have served our country, then easily turn around and support someone who has done nothing but destroy our rule of law and Constitution, to say nothing of turning what was once the best health care system in the world upside-down.
I served in the U.S. Air Force and I’m proud of it. My father and great-grandfather also served in the military. And they were darn proud of it. Why vote for someone who lied from the moment he took office? Didn’t he promise before God that he would protect and uphold the Constitution? Has he done it? NO.
You think I should go somewhere else. Where would I go? Egypt? Saudi Arabia? No, you’re the one who loves the change in the U.S. You’re the one who believes the lie told a thousand times that the Obama administration would be more transparent than any previous administration — a lie.
Nancy Pelosi still doesn’t know what’s in Obamacare. She’s written two letters to me asking for donations “so she can stop the Republicans from stealing $700 billion from Medicare” — another lie. The Republicans have been trying to save Medicare from “Democrat-care” ever since the King wanted to destroy it.
So, I suggest that you move to another country. Cuba has a totalitarian government already. Raul Castro rules like Mr. Obama does, by executive fiat. You like that. You wouldn’t have to change a thing. The weather is warm there all the time. You don’t need to work there. It’s perfect, right?
