I'm so glad someone else appreciates the fall foliage in Lodi. Gas prices as they are, it's so rewarding to look at the foliage in town. I love to drive down Pine Street to Cherokee Lane after a good soaking with the leaves with car paths on the street. Elm Street has the many colors from Hutchins Street to Ham Lane. Lower Sacramento to Turner Road is so gorgeous come spring. As you drive safely, take a look. It'll put a smile on your face.

I remember as a child raking leaves to make money for Christmas. Leaves are slippery, and I appreciate the city workers for cleaning them up. It's simple pleasures and having healthy, happy family and friends that I am thankful for.
