The Democrats coined the phrase "War on Women," but in reality they promote, encourage and finance the "War on the Unborn" — the taking of innocent human life in the womb. Their platform is solidly pro-abortion and their partner, Planned Parenthood, the No. 1 promoter and provider of abortions, rakes in almost $500 million of your federal tax dollars every year — over a million dollars a day.

For over 39 years since the Supreme Court decision of Roe v. Wade in 1973, this country has killed over 57 million little children. This figure far, far surpasses the casualties in all wars in which the U.S. has fought since 1775.

In war, the medical corps save lives. In abortion, the medical profession takes lives. Aborted babies get no purple heart, no "Taps," no Memorial Day, no trial, no jury and no justice.

Aristotle says, "The State comes into existence that many may live" and the first duty of government is to protect life. If the state can "legalize" the murder of some, it can "legalize" the murder of many. If an innocent baby's life is not protected — neither is yours. Abortion today "justifies" euthanasia tomorrow.

Every voter will be judged on how he voted to protect or destroy innocent human life. Obama, Obamacare and the HHS mandates force an anti-life agenda. Choose life, so that you and your descendants may live and vote for candidates that protect the right to life.

A baby is not part of a woman's body.

    Abortion is not birth control.

Having sex is planning for parenthood.

Should graduations return to the Grape Bowl?

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
