In every general election, we hear that this election is the most important ever. This time it is. We will make a decision about whether we want to be a European-style socialist nation or go back to our roots that made us the most prosperous, strongest and freest people in the history of the world.

The scariest thing I've ever heard was when Chief Justice Roberts said we cannot depend on the Supreme Court to protect our rights. I don't know if this went over everyone's heads, or if the pundits and news media just didn't want to talk about it. What I do know is that the president selects the judges. They will select them if their political views are as his is — and not the Constitution. If you doubt me, look at Mr. Obama's appointments.

"There is not one Republican that voted to implement this draconian law."

"Draconian?" Playing fast and loose with what you think is your knowledge of vocabulary, eh?

As for "Daryl," if the Muppet's shoe fits.... But just think, in some neighborhoods, the "Darrell" spelling would be pronounced "DaRELL."

What you all need to do is what Ms. Bobin does - read the facts once in a while but be skeptical. Stop absorbing the slime oozing out of your TV & radio. Although if your parents were anything like the ones we see in today's schools, you may be temporarily excused from your inability to learn from experience.

How many times does it take for you to realize you are not being served by either mainstream party? Will it take another 16 Trillion dollars of debt? Maybe you did not lose your job this time but it is coming if you continue this ridiculous behavior - you can bet on it!

Boy are you off base. Who cares about Obamacare? It is simply a political issue used to rally shallow thinkers. It has not / will not change anything regarding medical coverage in terms of saving money or extending health. And the Repubs have pushed Ron Paul out - I guess he is bad for Amerika - just as they enlisted the new Joe Biden (aka Paul Ryan ) - also a troublemaker for his outspoken neo-patriotic bilge-talk. You guys are clueless.

Jerry stated....Neither mainstream party will make "ANY" change.

I think Jerry has problems articulating what is in his heart...obviously, one party made a bad change… (The Democrats).
All Democrats and no Republicans voted to make Obama"not"care law of the land. This was a substantial change that resulted in increasing the power and control our government holds that significantly diminishes the quality of life.

Conservatives and libertarians, who dominate the tea party, see this law as bad change. There is not one Republican that voted to implement this draconian law. The best chance to make change and overturn this law is to vote Republican and give them a super majority in both houses. This will bring “REAL” change .

I agree with Jerry that the two parties both create law that diminishes our freedoms and at times (Especially liberals), it seems as if there are no differences between the parties. However, to state there are ”NO” differences is not reality. I think giving credit to Ron Paul and his supporters for helping the discussion to focus on freedom & liberties is long overdue.

Ms Winters stated...Mr. Bransom, Who is Daryl??

Ithink he is referring to Daryl Cagle who is the editorial cartoonist for NBCNews.com. Cagle worked with The Muppets from 1979 through 1993.

The Tea Party candidate for President was swindled out of power. Big surprise! But the Tea Party is not really that. It is just that people continue to equate Tea Party to people who care about the Constitution. If you are fed up with Repubs or Demos, then you are the Tea Party. I guess most people cannot extrapolate the truth and have to compartmentalize everyone.Neither mainstream party will make any change. And if you support either, you will be responsible for the results. I say vote them all out. Even if it is Senator Denny Doofus, it will be real change.

Jerry, if we voted out all of the Dems and Repubs, who would we be voting for?

    The TEA Party?

And amazing how ONE court decision has turned the Republican darling of John Roberts into the greatest anathma on the face of the Earth.

In case you haven't read the Constitution, Mr. Baumbach, the SC is supposed to be impartial. A joke at best, given their record. But that is how it is supposed to be whether YOU like it or not.

Finally.. a letter I can agree with. So are you going to vote them all out Mr. Young? Daryl will not. He supports the guy who appointed the Chief Justice and will vote for the candidate that hired all of GWBs advisors for HIS campaign.

Mr. Young stated...The scariest thing I've ever heard was when Chief Justice Roberts said we cannot depend on the Supreme Court to protect our rights

Exactly! This justice was giving the voters a slap in the face and telling the people to wake up...that voters should control their quality of life we used to enjoy. If people want our government to dominate and control our society, vote Obama. If they want to reduce government control over every aspect of our lives, Romney is who should get our votes.
Voting for Obama is voting to throw freedom to control your destiny in the toilet.
