Community invited to third annual Flag Day at All-Veterans Plaza
On Thursday, June 14 at 7 p.m., the Lodi Masonic Lodge will be hosting our third annual Flag Day celebration for the community at the Lodi's All-Veterans Plaza, which is located on Pine Street next to City Hall in Downtown Lodi.
The National Sojourners Heroes of '76, a concordant body of the Masons, will present "Building the American Flag," which is an educational piece explaining the origins and various configurations of our flag throughout our nation's history. "Old Glory Speaks," which is an inspirational tribute given from the flag's perspective, will then be presented.
The Lodi Community Band will perform a set of patriotic music following the presentation by the Heroes of '76.
The Lodi Lodge No. 256 Free & Accepted Masons of California was originally chartered in 1879. The Lodi Masonic Lodge has been located at 321 W. Pine St. since 1936.
National Sojourners has an unequaled military Masonic history. The Heroes of '76 is an affiliate, auxiliary organization of National Sojourners. It is composed of National Sojourners who have, in recognition of exemplary service to National Sojourners, Freemasonry or our national government, received this inspiring patriotic degree.
I would like to invite the entire community to join us for an inspirational and entertaining evening honoring the flag of our great nation. Bring your lawn chairs and join us for a wonderful evening.

Sounds great, and thank you for putting this on. These events take a lot of personal time and effort and it is trhough efforts like this that we continue to honor our flag, and our country's traditions! I hope to see you there and will help spread the word!
