The Galt Lighting of the Nights Christmas Parade and Santa's Workshop brought so many smiles to all the children.

We want to let everyone who participated know how much we appreciate all their hard work decorating their floats, trucks, tractors, boats and fire trucks.

We have a special "thank you" to O'Hara Realty, Remax-Galt branch and Cooke Realty "Moreno Team," and Toni Del Grande for providing fun work stations for all to enjoy while waiting to see Santa; MarsHill Church and Seventh-day Adventist Church for hot apple cider, hot chocolate and face painting; Spaans Cookies for your delicious cookies; and Parks and Recreation for coffee and all your help.

A lot goes into planning this parade so that we can bring Santa throughout the town, and we would like to give a special "thank you" to our Police Chief, LT. Uptagrove and Craig Walton and their staff for providing us safe travel along with City Manager Jason Behrmann and our City Council. We would also like to mention the following Santa helpers, because without you it would not have been such a success:

Tim Clay (aka Santa), Rick Mcmasters (aka Santa), It's a Grind, Raley's Bakery Dept., Spaans Cookies, Sherrie Smith, Watts Family Galt Herald, Lodi New-Sentinel, John Wells, John Moreno, Nicole Moreno-Boyce, Monique Moreno, Alyssa Moreno, Adolfo Carrillo, Bob Gross and Cheryle Perucca.

We can't thank you enough for helping us bring holiday cheer to one of the greatest little towns around!
