I would like to thank American Legion Post 22 member Steven Bojorques and his Native American Indian organization, Red Circle, for the recent donation of more than 200 wrapped Christmas toys and clothes collected by them and the United States Marine Corps.

On Dec. 19, 2010, in the main hall at the American Legion, Steven and his helpers from this organization handed out presents to local needy children and Christmas trees to 35 families.

In November, Steven and his organization, Red Circle, gave away 35 15-pound turkeys and bags of food to local needy families from the Post 22 hall. He and his fellow workers are in inspiration to us all.

Cmdr. Dan Straight
