The Obama administration, after all the lies, excuses and subterfuge, finally admitted they knew the Benghazi attack was a premeditated al-Qaida attack. Warnings were in the wind that they would seek retribution for the killing of one of their own, and with Sept. 11 being the anniversary of an infamous day in American history, you'd think that any president would've beefed up security in this area, with all the unrest, to protect our people. Did he? No.

In Tunisia and Egypt, our embassy flags were torn down, burned, spit on, stomped and mutilated, but still the administration insists on sending billions of dollars to Egypt and its hostile leader. "Death to America" and other anti-Western slogans were shouted in the streets. Yet for the longest time, the administration, the Secretary of State, the Press Secretary and our U.N. ambassador lied when trying to blame this on an anti-Islam video. They even paid Pakistan more than $70,000 to air a video where Obama and Clinton expressed their dismay and disgust over the video and literally apologized. It was absolutely sickening.

What's even more nauseating is how the liberal press — ABC, CBS, etc. — bend over backwards to either ignore his gaffes and terrible mistakes or cover them up, but go out of their way to find excuses to blame Romney for things he has had no part in.

Harry Reid, the Senate majority leader, accused Romney of paying no income taxes for over 10 years — a blatant lie — and now has besmirched his religious reputation. Has Mr. Obama or any other member of his staff called Reid, his attack dog, down for criticizing someone's religious demeanor after he said this would not be allowed? No.

And don't think for a minute that he's going to interfere with Iran going nuclear, or come to Israel's aid when he is already disarming this country. I believe he means to destroy the America we all know and love, and knows exactly what he is doing. I pray to God, our only hope, that this will not happen.

I'm sorry but this is a rediculous letter. Obama is NOT trying to destroy the country. He is doing what he thinks is best for the country. Just because you, I or millions of others disagree on what is best for the country, does not mean he is trying to destroy it. And frankly it is EXACTLT this kind of mentality, the OTHER side is the evil enemy, that keeps this country from making any progress twords getting better.

Both sides do this. Both sides see the OTHER party as the enemy. Obama is not trying to destroy this country, Obsession with YOUR (collective your, meaning American society including our politicians) Party being right and the other evil enemy is destroying the country.

We are ALWAYS stronger together, we know we are stronger together, so ask yourselves (before you launch into a 200 posted responses or verbal attacks) WHY are we so easily driven apart?

Funny, the same thing can be said about the original 9-11

As to Iran when this President says they are not going to have a Nuclear weapon you can take it to the bank. Ask Ben Laden. This is not George Bush or Mitt Romney. He is not a liar or a flip flopper. He is a man of character.

Should graduations return to the Grape Bowl?

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
