I am writing this letter to you in regards to one of our upcoming local elections, in particular the North San Joaquin Water Conservation District board elections. As a citizen and voting member in Lodi, I believe that we deserve individuals that represent our best interests in the greater community.

I have noticed that signs resembling graffiti have gone up around our community. This seems to be a quick attempt to get some people elected. Are these the right people for the job?

We have a great opportunity to elect a new board member to the North San Joaquin Water Board; someone who is invested in our community, a local farmer and, most of all, a parent that gives back to our young adults in the county. I have been impressed with open communication that Joe Petersen has shown in his professional life, as well as his willingness to commit his time to civic improvements that directly impact our community.

My vote is for Joe Petersen.

Isn't Mr. Petersen one of those questionable characters from NSJWCD that was suspected of wrongdoing that was investigated by the SJ county grand jury? Why would you want him back on the board after doing such a terrible job and always being one of those in the middle of most disrepancies and controversies? Maybe the board is struggling to keep one member that can keep the old books scrambled? Go, Bryan.
