President Obama wants to disarm America by any means available

This government in the past has banned alcohol, marijuana and illegal immigration. How's that working out for us? And now the all-powerful demi-god Obama thinks that he can ban guns by simply passing unconstitutional laws without constitutional authority.

Look at the statistics and remove yourself from the horrific events of this past year. The worst period of homicide in the last 150 years was between 1846-1887. They didn't have assault rifles, etc. The only common denominator was people, and as long as you have people you're going to have a minority that are inhuman — who will kill. And if they kill with guns, which will never leave this planet no matter how many laws you pass, then it's only logical and sane to allow those who are law-abiding citizens to have the means to protect themselves. As horrific as these school and theater massacres are, most murders in the U.S. are committed by criminals.

This president has an agenda to disarm America, and he will use any means available to him — even politicizing these horrific events playing on our emotions — to attain that goal.

I would appreciate it if you would keep your ridiculous accusations to yourself. I would think nothing of the sort.

You, Mr. Maple, are a digusting human being with no moral compunction about assigning values to individuals such as myself that you do not even know.

Why don't you crawl back into the hole from which you emerged after a long, long, blissful silence.

The following description of the 23 executive orders was provided by the White House. These descriptions are almost certainly deceptions, so don’t take them at face value. The devil is in the details, as we all know, so until we get a chance to look at the actual wording of each executive order, we won’t really know what Obama is trying to pull outside of law, without Congress and in violation of the U.S. Constitution.

But here’s the list provided by the White House so far:

    1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system.

    2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.

    3. Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system.

    4. Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.

    5. Propose rulemaking to give law enforcement the ability to run a full background check on an individual before returning a seized gun.

    6. Publish a letter from ATF to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers.

    7. Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign.

    8. Review safety standards for gun locks and gun safes (Consumer Product Safety Commission).

    9. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal law enforcement to trace guns recovered in criminal investigations.

    10. Release a DOJ report analyzing information on lost and stolen guns and make it widely available to law enforcement.

    11. Nominate an ATF director.

    12. Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations.

    13. Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime.

    14. Issue a Presidential Memorandum directing the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of gun violence.

    15. Direct the Attorney General to issue a report on the availability and most effective use of new gun safety technologies and challenge the private sector to develop innovative technologies.

    16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.

    17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities.

    18. Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers.

    19. Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education.

    20. Release a letter to state health officials clarifying the scope of mental health services that Medicaid plans must cover.

    21. Finalize regulations clarifying essential health benefits and parity requirements within ACA exchanges.

    22. Commit to finalizing mental health parity regulations.

    23. Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries Sebelius and Duncan on mental health.

Ms Collateral Damage...have you sent a sympathy card to his family? Tats tell a lot as does the video...he is listed with the gang-bang watch as a Norteno...I also know many of the Galt PD who have described him as such. Sorry, I forgot you are the only one who knows anything. Of course had the roles been reversed you would be villifying the police officer and everyone else within miles. Geeeez Alphonse seems smart today.

Pulling a gun on ANYONE let alone a police office MAKES you a PUNK!

    "punk gang banger?"

Did you know this guy, Mr. Maple, in order to ascribed that description?

I thought YOU thought only Mexicans are gang bangers.

It is very sad that this officer was killed in the line of duty, especially while checking out a "simple" burglary. My condolences to his family.

I hope the sheriff's investigation into this incident sheds clear light on what exactly happened that day.

Here's info on executive orders. WOW! It seems our last "dictator" was the one to instigate the plethora of executive orders that everyone now thinks are only the Obama's MO.

...murdered him! If our peace officers are being murdered on duty while in an open and non-threatening position WHAT is the average citizen to do? Cops have guns and die, criminals have guns and kill innocent people...it is time to turn the tables. It is time to shoot back.

Jerry, that site does not include the 19 Executive Orders related to guns issued in January. Do you have a link to the text of those orders?

And anyone who thinks Ron is full of it, just look at the executive orders done by the Whitehouse. I studied politics and government in College and it was NOTHING LIKE THIS!! Check it out yourself!! We have elected ourselves into a dictatorship.
