You do not have the right to bully a classmate

Everything seems to be connected to freedom of speech and civil rights. Some people believe it is their right to trash someone’s reputation and tell lies — and that it is OK. Some children with no respect for the feelings of others bully other classmates and believe in their minds that this is their right.

Does this come from the parents? I think a great amount of blame should be placed on the parents. Parents set the pattern of behavior for their children.

I think there should be some recourse for the victim, and for Lodi Unified School District to correct this kind of behavior, and to let them know this is not acceptable in a civilized society. What tools does LUSD have to put a stop to this once and for all?

How could someone feel that this is acceptable? What planet are they from? It’s going to be interesting to see how this is going to be addressed.
