I hope that everyone receiving the News-Sentinel read the letter to the editor on April 25, 2007, entitled, "U.S. Government is betraying citizens," written by Bryan Stamos. Bryan is to be commended for doing his homework regarding illegal immigrants.

In 1919, three days before his death, Theodore Roosevelt said the following, "In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But his is predicated upon the person becoming in every facet, an American. And nothing but an American … There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag … We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language … and we have but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

If we keep handing out our hard-earned resources to these invaders there won't be much left for our American children. Wake up America! We are being taken.

cont. I am not saying that this is all Mexicans, but just some of them: They really believe that this should be Mexico when they wave their flag. This give me a feeling that we are being invaded.
