Is it any wonder that Medicare is in trouble? Paying out $20 to $23 million in one year to any doctor means that the doctor is working 24/7 and still must charge exorbitant rates. So Medicare is reviewing those suspected of fraudulent billing? Since when? Did the review begin in 1967?

Other news shows like “60 Minutes” have cast a shadow on pharmacists, doctors and therapists who are taking in millions of dollars each year. These Medicare payments are being sent to storefronts that house nothing — no doctor, nurse or even a file cabinet. That show was broadcast several years ago.

This is just another example of government overseeing what should be a workable system, providing that everyone is honest and bills for services are rendered.

Good luck with Obamacare or any national health care system in America. If it’s run like Medicare, it will be a great burden to everyone working and to taxpaying citizens. In addition, it will be broke before too long. However, it will provide a free ride for those who are accustomed to free rides and a thrill ride for all those doctors and others who make money for doing nothing but sending out a bill each month.

Wake up, America, and smell the putrid smell of greed and government neglect.
