Kudos to Shoiab for standing up for Muslims 0 comments

Mr. Mohammed Shoiab's letter of Nov. 23, 2006, indicating that Taj Khan is neither a member of the Lodi Muslim Mosque nor is he a leader of the Lodi Muslim community, was both insightful and refreshing.

As a frequent critic of Taj Khan's diatribe purporting Muslim views, anti-American and anti-Bush policy, I was pleased to read that no matter how important Mr. Khan thinks he is, his comments are not those of the majority of his faith in the Lodi Muslim community. More importantly, Mr. Shoiab stands up and denounces terrorism, something Mr. Khan seems reluctant to do.

I have no idea whether Mr. Khan or Mr. Shoiab are citizens, but if Mr. Shoiab is not, I hope he becomes one soon. God bless America and God bless our troops.
