In my opinion, President Bush should be impeached because with all the help he is getting, he has made up his mind to stay in Iraq to try to salvage his legacy.

Does Bush realize how many more of our troops will be killed or maimed during his last two years in office, not to mention the $2 billion per week this stupidity is costing us? What could we have done with all the billions that has been spent on this mess already?

It keeps on going, week after week, month after month, year after year. These different factions have been at each others throats for thousands of years throughout the Middle East; now there is a civil war going full blast in Iraq. During our civil war, nobody stuck their nose in to interfere, and when it was all over we had 850,000 casualties. So let's bring our troops home and let all nations settle their own differences.

If the Iraq problem was settled tomorrow, the root problem would still remain in the Middle East, mainly Israel and Palestine. In 1948, the U.N. created the nation of Israel at the expense of the Palestinians, who live in refugee camps without a state. When the vote was taken in the U.N. in 1948, those voting "yes" would never allow their country to receive the same treatment. So in the Arab League, Israel is an illegal state.

Of the five members of the U.N. permanent security council, Britain, China abstained Russia. France voted "yes," leaving the U.S. to break the tie. There was lots of pressure on the U.S. to break the tie, which they finally did, but they added a footnote, stating, "We are not sure this is legal." It is not, in my opinion. At one time, Britain offered free land in Africa to start a new homeland for all Jews, but was narrowly defeated during a Congress in Bassil Switzerland. If they had taken that offer, we would not be in the Middle East today.
