This is in response to the column "Will limited water resources kill California agriculture?" by Joe Guzzardi. Yes, we have a water problem, and I do my part to conserve!

But is it really a water problem or a people problem? Los Angeles keeps growing and growing, and now they want some of our water.

It's great we can allow people to come to the United States to start a better life, but do they bring water with them?

You know what? Can't anybody see? People have four, five and six kids, and it can't work this way. It's called overpopulation! I know, nobody wants to hear it, right?

That brings me to another problem, letting people out of prison because it's getting too full. That is going to come back and bite us! What was the original reason for prison? Well, that didn't work.

Most people who go to prison don't know how to work and work hard. That's what I was taught from my mom and dad. These people don't know how to do this, so they pick the easier, softer way and steal from us again. I don't want to take away from those who try really hard to not go back to prison — congratulations. We just need to make it so people don't want to go back to jail.

One felon leaves, two take his/her place. Hard to stop overcrowing at that pace.
