After President Obama sets up Congress to be the fall guy in Syria, he goes to Sweden and says to an interviewer, “I didn’t set a red line. The world set a red line,” and “My credibility is not on the line — the international community’s credibility is on the line.” So now it’s the fault of Congress, the international community and the world.
Let’s see what Obama did say: “A red line for us” — not Congress, the international community or the world — “is we start seeing a whole bunch of chemical weapons moving around or being utilized. That would change my calculus. That would change my equation” (2012).
So Obama sends our Navy into harm’s way over a situation we have no business being in — over weapons now in Syria that the liberals swore Bush was lying about — to be essentially used as al-Qaida’s mercenaries. You see Kerry — who has as much credibility as Jane Fonda to me — assured Congress yesterday that the Arabs are willing to finance this expedition into hell.
Arabs have their own planes and troops. Let them bleed for Obama’s failures, not American servicemen and women who Obama couldn’t care less about.
